shoot by chinatown didn't work out, couldn't find a last minute model to be abused for the shot. so no quick $350, but the girl and I got to walk around china town for a couple hours. had illegal fireworks offered to us multiple times, bought some crappy gifts for friends, enjoyed my first taste of duck.
did a quick preliminary narrowing of friday's shoot, from 750+ down to 43 images to choose from for the 8 pages, plus hopefully cover.
tomorrow i'll be going back into the city to show my portfolio to 2 magazines and 1 ad agency and leaving my book with one of the magazines to ship back to me in my portfolio case. we gotta put that 200 dollar case to use and see how it works to use my new fedex account number for direct billing.
